A phenomenal learning experience

Neha Miglani from Panjab University Chandigarh, India

Dr. Neha Miglani, a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Journalism at Panjab University Chandigarh, India, was awarded with a travel grant to attend IAMCR 2019. She presented her paper "Fashion Bloggers as Influencers in Decision Making- Case of Young Adults as Consumers" to the Emerging Scholars Network Section.

In the article below, she shares her thoughts about the experience.

Attending the IAMCR 2019 was a phenomenal learning experience for me. It helped me connect with people doing similar research work in other parts of the world and also helped me evaluate where I stand in terms of my research efforts and ability.  The travel grant by IAMCR is a great encouragement to young researchers who actually aspire to do some serious research and are open to new ideas and meeting people from their discipline. This visit to Madrid has established my faith permanently in this organisation and its genuineness, and I now look forward to being a part of it each year and to contribute in whatever way possible to its growth and objectives.
