About the SACM/SGKM
The SACM represents communication and media research in Switzerland. Its members come from all Swiss language regions and are media and communication scholars at research universities or universities of applied sciences as well as media experts in related associations, authorities and administrations.

The Faculty of Communication, Culture and Society is the only one in Switzerland and among the few in Europe to offer an all-round education in communication, with a fully interdisciplinary approach. The study curriculum covers the spectrum from the fundamentals of the discipline to cutting-edge specialization, with a view to turning out not simply communication generalists, but leading specialists in particular sectors of the field.
