La comunicación de la sanidad en redes sociales. Una perspectiva institucional europea

Este artigo investiga a variedade de funções que as redes sociais cumprem no contexto da saúde. O Facebook continua a ser a rede social com mais usuários em todo o mundo, razão pela qual é objeto de análise das contas oficiais das agências de saúde pública de cinco países da União Europeia). O objetivo fundamental do estudo é identificar como essas instituições de saúde europeias se comunicam, analisando seus perfis, com cerca de 2.000 publicações durante o ano de 2017. Existem diferenças notáveis no volume e cadência de publicações por país, assim como, em níveis de engagement. Destaca-se o conteúdo audiovisual e observa-se uma coincidência geral em termos das principais patologias comunicadas a partir das contas oficiais. Não é detectado um padrão comum em termos de engagement, portanto, em termos de saúde, as agendas são marcadas por agendas nacionais.
