Spanish/English interpretation

English/Spanish interpretation services will be provided for the Plenary Sessions and the General Assembly. We will be using the services of Interprenet. Unlike interpretation services you may be used to, Interprenet doesn't provide devices with headphones. Instead they deliver them over the the wifi network to your smartphone or tablet.
To use the system you will have to install the Inteprenet app on your Android or iPhone device. Download a  user guide here.
If you plan to use the service, please make sure to bring headphones for your phone.

Eugene airport

Eugene's airport is located 20 minutes from the city centre and 25 minutes from the university housing complex. Many of the hotels offer a free shuttle. For information visit the Eugene Cascades and Coast page on local transportation.

The University of Oregon housing doesn't offer a shuttle service. For information on taxis and shuttle services that you can book online before you leave home see  http://oregon2018.iamcr.org/airport

Staying at the UO residence and arriving after 20:00?

For those staying at UO Residence Halls and arriving after 8 pm on either June 19th or June 20th, please notify UO Housing of your planned arrival time by emailing Stacie Irvin (irvin@uoregon.edu) as soon as possible.
This will help with your check-in, which will be after UO Housing’s regular hours.

Changing money in Eugene

Eugene has only a few places where you can exchange currency. If you want to change money, we recommend you do it at international airports or other ports of entry. Of course, most businesses accept debit or credit cards (Visa, Master Card, and sometimes, American Express) and bank machines allow you to witdhdraw in USD.
