IAMCR 2016 - Call for Proposals - Deadline 15 February
The Diaspora and Media Working Group of the International Association for Media and Communication Research invites interdisciplinary papers (abstracts) and panel proposals (including abstracts) that engage with a diverse variety of questions on diasporic communities and their experiences with media, for the 2016 IAMCR conference to be held from 27 -31 July, 2016 in Leicester, UK. These experiences could, and most often do, intersect with issues of race, ethnicity, transnationalism, sexuality, gender, marginalization, discrimination, national identity, etc., within local, national, and international contexts.
