Ethics, Research and Communication: Looking Forward - An IAMCR Working Group Pre-Conference

Conference Description: Papers focused on any aspect of the main theme “Ethics, Research and Communication: Looking forward”, especially those regarding critical issues in the agenda for research, are welcome. A selection of papers (blind peer review) will be published by El Profesional de la Información (JCR 0,356), with no charge for the authors, in a Special Issue by March 2017 (v. 26, n. 2). Full paper reception deadline for those who wish to be considered for publication is 10 November 2016. Official IAMCR languages Spanish, English, French, as well as Portuguese are accepted; please check the formal requirements at the end of the CFP.

This call for papers invites contributions from the international community of scholars, educators and practitioners. In order to identify key issues for the future of research, this is an open call; nevertheless, we encourage researchers working in one of the following topics to consider this CFP.

  • New Technologies
  • Education
  • Professionalism
  • Vulnerable groups
  • Research methods
  • Theoretical challenges

We are honoured to announce opening remarks by Ethics of Society and Ethics of Communication WG founder and past IAMCR President, Professor Manuel Parés i Maicas (Autonomous University of Barcelona).
