Anna Gladkova is Leading Researcher and Director of International Affairs Office at the Faculty of Journalism, Lomonosov Moscow State University. She is also co-chair of IAMCR's Digital Divide Working Group.
As Director of the International Affairs Office, Dr. Gladkova oversees all faculty exchanges and international projects with partner universities and associations from abroad. In addition to that, she teaches several courses in Russian and English at the Faculty of Journalism, and holds the position of executive editor in ‘World of Media. Journal of Russian Media and Journalism Studies’.
Dr. Gladkova has published and edited collections on ethnic media, multicultural affairs, digital inequalities and digital divides. Her most recent books include 'Digital Inequalities in the Global South' (Palgrave Macmillan, 2020) co-edited with Dr. Massimo Ragnedda, and 'Ethnic Journalism in the Global South' (Palgrave Macmillan, 2021) co-edited with Dr. Sadia Jamil.
Anna Gladkova was awarded a number of research grants, including grants from the Presidential grant council for the state support of young Russian scholars and ‘Russian International Education Administrators’ grant from Fulbright.
