Experience

Dr. Vlad worked as a journalist in Romania for 20 years. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Georgia, Dr. Vlad was the chair of the Journalism Department of the Babes-Bolyai University, Romania, and director of the World Free Press Institute. Dr. Vlad has been a visiting IREX Fellow at the University of North Carolina and a Senior Fulbright Scholar at the University of Georgia.
