Handover of Warumungu cultural material at Otago museum
Six culturally-important items belonging to Warumungu people have left the Tūhura Otago Museum in Dunedin in New Zealand to travel to Australia following a handover ceremony.
Due to illness, this event has been rescheduled for March 2023. Professor Greg Lehman is a descendant of the Trawulwuy people of northeast Tasmania and is a well-known art historian, curator, essayist and commentator on Indigenous identity and place.
